LEAD Charter School seeks an exceptional School Office Associate to join our mission-driven community. The school clerk plays a vital role in maintaining seamless and efficient operations across all sites. Working closely with the Operations team and other staff members, this role ensures processes are effective, organized, and aligned with the school’s needs.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Manage the school’s front office, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for visitors, parents, and staff.
    2. Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
    3. Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
    4. Manage procurement processes, including ordering, tracking and maintaining an inventory of supplies and resources.
    5. Ensure all procurement and administrative activities adhere to school policies and state regulations, maintaining transparency and accountability.
    1. Track and document student attendance using the school’s student information system.
    2. Prepare detailed attendance reports for administrators and district officials.
    3. Act as the primary point of contact for attendance-related inquiries from teachers, parents, and students.
    4. Communicate attendance policies, procedures, and concerns effectively with parents.
    5. Collaborate with teachers and staff to address attendance issues and implement strategies to improve attendance.
    1. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential student records in compliance with state and district regulations.
    2. Support student recruitment efforts, including outreach and data tracking.
    3. Support the onboarding process for new students, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
    1. Provide general administrative assistance, including preparing documents, managing schedules, and organizing files.
    2. Assist with event coordination, meeting preparation, and other operational tasks as needed.
    1. Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support a positive and productive school environment.

    3. Take on additional responsibilities and special projects to support school operations as needed.
